Film Defects
Manufacturer film defects such as delamination, adhesive failure, bubbling or discoloration are covered by the film manufacturer's warranty. We help you file the claim.
Manufacturer Warranty Durations
- 10-year manufacturer's limited warranty on LLumar Platinum PPF (gloss and matte).
- Limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty on LLumar carbon and ceramic window films.
Manufacturer warranties are administered by LLumar and cover film defects; certain restrictions apply. We help you file the claim.
Not Covered
Installation error, contamination during installation, impact damage, improper cleaning and film removed and reapplied are not covered.
Optional First-Install Protection
Available at checkout for $25 per tint kit or $49 per PPF kit. Eligible pieces are any of the precut pieces listed under What's Included for the covered kit; tools and the practice piece are not covered.
One replacement of one precut film piece listed under What's Included for your covered kit, damaged during your first installation. Tools and the practice piece are not eligible. Claim within 30 days of delivery with a photo and your order number. You pay replacement shipping at the normal rates: $6.99 contiguous U.S. or $11.99 Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories for shipments under $75; free shipping at $75+.
Does not cover ordering the wrong vehicle, choosing the wrong film, or a piece already installed and then removed. This optional protection does not change your Perfect Fit Guarantee or returns rights.
To claim, email support@precutly.com with your order number, the damaged piece name and a photo within 30 days of delivery. We verify coverage before arranging the replacement and shipping payment.
